Why Intrepid MS Lacrosse for Your Daughter?

Intrepid understands that sports are meant to be fun, yet challenging and we believe a player’s early years in club lacrosse should also be fun and challenging. Because middle school programs are the genesis of the success of a club’s future elite teams, Intrepid believes that this is the most critical aspect of any lacrosse club’s growth in, and service to the surrounding area. Many clubs staff their middle school programs with new coaches or interns to function primarily as a learning experience for those coaches. Conversely, and because of this age group’s unique needs, Intrepid chooses to place experienced coaches with strong developmental backgrounds at the helm of our middle school programming. The strength of our middle school staff is found in the skill, dedication and most importantly, the desire to coach the youngest players. The mission of Intrepid’s middle school programming is to instill confidence in young, eager players through comprehensive skill development in a challenging, fun and family focused environment. This is the future of lacrosse in Pittsburgh and should be valued accordingly.

Players will be organized into two teams for the purpose of practice and travel where applicable. Generally we follow a rising 7/8 and 5/6 grade split and take into consideration those who have opted into travel as well.

June 4, 6, 11, 13, 18, 20, 25, 27 July 2, 9, 11

Scrimmages 7pm-8pm starting in Week 2 on Tuesday nights!
