US LACROSSE BANQUET

The Pittsburgh Lacrosse Foundation Annual Awards Banquet is Wednesday, June 4th at Edgewood Country Club. Registration begins at 5:00 pm. Dinner is at 6:00 pm and is followed by the awards ceremony. The cost is fifteen dollars per player and twenty-five dollars per adult. Payment of cash or checks (payable to the Pittsburgh Lacrosse Foundation) will be accepted at the registration table at the banquet.
If you plan to attend, please respond by e-mail to dlovasik@comcast.net (preferred) or call 412-220-2188 by June 1 and state the number of adults and players that are attending. Appropriate dress is required.

THE THIRD TIME WAS A CHARM!
The Intrepid family wants to congratulate the Peters Township Lady Indians, their coaches and parents, but especially Ms. Laura Sunday (Intrepid 2008), Ms. Cassidy Schemm (Intrepid 2009) and Ms. Jules Femiani (Intrepid 2010) on their first ever WPIAL Women's Lacrosse Championship. We would also like to acknowledge all of the Intrepid high school players from Peters Township, both past and present, who helped make this dream come true: Ms. Jen Doran, Ms. Sarah Grech, Ms. Kelly McGrail, Ms. Morgan Murray, Ms. Ali Oleynik, Ms. Laura Quinn, Ms. Lauren Ray, Ms. Bridget Stein, Ms. Rachel Sunday, Ms. Sam Schwartz and goal keeper Ms. Alexia Walnoha.

The mission of the club is to promote
the growth of girls’ lacrosse, and to field competitive teams
by developing advanced playing skills, game knowledge, confidence,
responsible decision-making, teamwork and good sportsmanship.
This mission will be accomplished by retaining inspirational
and dedicated coaches who will professionally and consistently
teach the modern game; treat every player with dignity and
respect; and recruit the best players, encourage teamwork, stress
physical fitness and strive to make Intrepid a fun-filled and
positive experience for all members.
